TASTES AND FLAVORS FROM EAST TO WEST: Fly Ace Corporation in SIAL ASEAN
 

How often do you get to try the world’s many flavors in one venue? Fly Ace Corporation, one of the country’s leading food and beverage consumer goods companies, has recently presented its wide array of products sourced from all over the world in SIAL ASEAN, the world’s largest food innovation observatory. Joined by over 20 countries including Korea, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the US among others, SIAL ASEAN was a haven for food lovers to relish the varying tastes of the east and west.
 

Located at the heart of the exhibit, the Fly Ace Corporation booth was hard to miss with its towering red arch and a globe perched on top to represent the company’s worldwide sourcing expertise. Display columns showcased the various brands the company has been bringing to Filipino homes including house labels Jolly, Good Life, Dona Elena, Jolly Cow and exclusively distributed brands such as Old Orchard, Welch’s, Mott’s and wines Franzia and Concha Y Toro among others. Newly acquired brands such as Bertolli, Lotus and Gerolsteiner were also presented to guests who were primarily local and international trade buyers.
 

A ribbon-cutting ceremony led by owners, Company Founder Ederlina Cochanco and daughter and Executive Vice President for Support Services Ellen Cochanco, formally opened the booth. A kitchen set-up was surrounded by guests as Chef Mitchie Sison whipped up appetizing dishes using Dona Elena, Good Life, and Jolly products. The beverage bar sampled refreshing juices and premium wines delighting passersby.
 

On the La Cuisine stage, how to mix and match the company’s breadth of products were presented to a discerning audience. Chef Mitchie Sison shared delectable dishes including Cream of Duo Mushroom Soup with Parmesan Croutons and White Asparagus, Green Curry and Coconut Bihon with Spiced Chicken, and Sardine and Caper Lasagna Rollups. Chef Eugene Raymundo whipped up Mushroom & Chorizo Croquettes, Peking Mushroom Nibblers, and his version of Venetian Vermicelli. As the guests sampled the recipes, there were oohs and aahs as they learned the best way to cook pasta and the adventurous ways to include mushroom in everyday meals.
 

SIAL ASEAN in Manila is an affirmation that Filipino consumers are eager to have access to an even wider selection of food and beverage products. Fly Ace Corporation has been bringing to Filipino homes top quality brands and food products for almost 50 years, most of which are leading brands in their respective categories. With the flavors of east and west closer to consumers, the company earns a spot in the hearts of the Filipino families.
