Mozzarella Sticks

2 pcs eggs, beaten

2 tbsp water

½ cup all-purpose flour

3 tbsp cornstarch

1 bar mozzarella, sliced into 2 inch sticks

1 pack Jolly Claro Palm Oil 500ml


For Italian Bread Crumbs:

1 cup Good Life Bread Crumbs

½ tsp salt

½ tsp dried parsley

½ tsp pepper

½ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp onion powder



For Italian Bread Crumbs:

1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl or put in a food processor.  Mix well and set aside.


For Mozzarella sticks:

1. Prepare 3 small bowls. 

2. First bowl, combine flour and cornstarch and mix well.

3. Second bowl, beat together egg and water.

4. Third bowl, the Italian breadcrumbs.

5. In a heavy saucepan or deep fryer, heat oil.

6. Coat mozzarella sticks one at a time on the flour mixture then onto the egg mixture then lastly onto the breadcrumbs then deep fry until golden brown, about 30 seconds.  Remove from heat and drain on paper towels. 

Makes 16 sticks
